Zulum appoints three SEMA programme coordinators

state governor, Babagana earlier in January approved the appointment of Mustapha Kawu, Malam Musa Abbas and Rawa Gama Dikwa as the coordinators of the Borno State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).
According to a press released by permanent secretary of the state, Danjuma Ali, the appointment took effect from January, 2021.
The three appointee has officially resumed their duties on Thursday, 4th February at the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA)

DG, Hajiya Kolo commend the Zulum for his care and attitude towards the Internally Display Persons (IDPs), marginalized and vulnerable people in the state, she also commend him for strengthen the SEMA in her operational activities.

Hajiya also request for public assistant in carrying out logistics activities, staff welfare and other matter that will enhance carrying their daily activities.
The volume of the work we put in place has changed the nomenclature of my office, also we have returned so many IDPs from Marte, Baga, Culka, Gushe, Kayuri and Bama to their villages.
Gadau Ali, adviser said “am extremely overwhelmed on the appointment of SEMA coordinators after the change in nomenclature, we so much believe the new coordinators will coordinate well in their place of duties.
“Our appreciation goes to Zulum for appointing Hajiya Kolo as the new SEMA Director General (DG)” he added.
Recall, Zulum has approved the change of nomenclature of the chairperson of the agency to director general as contained in section 2 (2) of the Borno state Emergency Management (SEMA) law, 2013 (amendment) Law, 2017.
