Residents of Bayan-Tsauni in Danhonu-2 has pleaded with Chikun local and state government to repair the diilapidated road linking other villages around the area.
The residents who are mostly farmers, and are cuktivationg various types of crops such as corn, mikket, rice, carbage, okro, sweet potatoes, and many others have for many years been experiencing hardship in transportating their farm produce to the Marker, the sick and pregnant women alike.
Some of the residents in a separate interview with our reporter, lamented on the condition of the only access road in the community as the rainy season approaches.
Garba Bawa, a community leader, in Bayan-Tsauni, appealed to the local government, interim chairman Samaila Leeman to helpand fill the road before the rainfall.
He also called on the State Government to provide them with social amenities like portable drinking water and health facility among others.
Also, a resident mallam Adamu Bawa Yari, lamented over the condition of the road in the community, saying during the rainy season the road while leads to Doka Maijama’a village is not accessable.
He however, explained that when someone is sick during the period, it is difficult to take him/her to the hospital due to the nature of the road.
Yari therefore, urged the state government to provide the community with a primary health care facility to alleviate thier plight.
On his part, a youth leader, James Isah, also pleaded with the local and state government, to avail them the dividend of democracy through the provision of social amenities.
