Shila Boys Escaped Jungle Justice For Stealing Goats In Adamawa

Two suspected Shila boys on Thursday have barely escaped being burnt alive by a horde after they were captured for allegedly stealing two goats in Girei Local Area of Adamawa state.

The suspects who gave their names as Abdulrahaman Musa, 26 and Saidu Ibrahim, 27 both from Nassarawo ward in Jimeta, Adamawa state were blocked by the horde after stealing the goats in Girei town on Wednesday.

An eyewitness told our Correspondent that the dreaded Shila boys who raged Girei town on a tricycle, known as (Keke Napep) were sighted when stealing the goats by certain individuals.

He portrayed that individuals who saw the young men submitting the demonstration raised alert because of which they were followed and caught by the horde close to Girei connect along Yola – Mubi street.

As indicated by him, the crowd had attempted to burnt the suspects alive yet were quickly safeguarded by the police, and that they were left with no option than to consume the tricycle of the suspects.

Affirming the occurrence to Newsmen, the Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said that the police in Girei arrested the suspects, and that they are being investigated after which they will be charge to court.
