Senate President Ahmed Lawan Visits Zabarmari Village

government deligation led by the senate president, Sen. Ahmed Lawan have visited Zabarmari Community in where 67 farmers were killed by terrorists.
The 67 victims were massacred on Saturday morning in their farms near Koshebe village with so many others missing.
Addressing the community, Ahmed Lawan said they are sent by Muhammadu to commiserate with them ‘on the senseless and barbaric of our people by Boko Haram terrorists.’
While expressing his grief, the president said a single life is worth protecting by the whole of Nigerians and everything humanly possible will be put in place to protect them, their farms and every Nigerian.
Speaking to our correspondent, Mohammed Sani who lost his son and brother thank the federal government for the visit.
He however, called on the federal government to ensure that their lives and properties are secured.
‘Both of them are married with children, what we want from the federal government is to ensure that we and our properties are well secure.’
The deligation consist of the the chief of staff to the president, the deputy governor of Yobe State, the national security advisor, ministers, and members of the national assembly, among others.
