The Commissioner of Police Bauchi State Command, CP Sylvester Biodun Alabi has ordered the deployment of three thousand one hundred and forty seven (3,147) Officers to provide security during and after the EID-EL FITIR celebration.
This was contained in a press release signed by the Command’s public relations Officer SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil Today.
According to him, the Command will collaborate with other Security Agencies and all critical stakeholders to ensure that, the celebration is peaceful and hitch-free.
He added that Officers and Men comprising Conventional Police and other Tactical Teams of the Command as well as necessary logistics will be deployed to all praying grounds and venues of events in the State.
Similarly, the Nigeria security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDS, Bauchi State unit said the presence of their intelligence officers will be felt in all the twenty Local government areas ahead of the Sallah celebration.
The Public Relations Officer of the Corps, Garkuwa Adamu made this known while briefing the press.
He stated that their patrol will be intensified in this period to alleviate any security threat in the state.
