NDLEA Saga: My mum has handed this battle to God – Singer CDQ

Famous Nigerian artist, Sodiq Yusuf, also called CDQ, has reviled those purportedly behind his recent ordeal at the hands of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Yusuf said his mum revealed to him she had handed over the battle to God to manage the individuals who arranged the adventure to discolor the great name he had battled to work throughout the long term.

Newsmen had reported that the artist was arrested at his Lekki, home on Wednesday over supposed ownership of cannabis.

The NDLEA’s Head of Media and Support, Femi Babafemi, had expressed that the artist was arrested following an insight report.

Nonetheless, responding to the advancement in a Twitter post, the artist expressed that any plot against him would boomerang against those behind it and their family as he asserted unfairness.

As per him, the arrest was focused to bring to offensiveness his picture he had worked throughout the long term.

His tweet reads;

“My mum just said I don’t have anyone but I have God. I’m a sinner but I have never tried to bring others down. Let God fight for you. Whoever is behind all these false accusations it shall, boomerang on them and their family. They can’t spoil the name I built with sweat and blood. Yeh Yeh,” he wrote in a mixture of English and Yoruba.

“My mum just said mio leyan shugbon mo ni Olohun. eleshe nimi o shugbon mio ba t’eda je ri.

“Fi gbogbo ija e le fun Olohun whoever is behind all these false accusations it shall boomerang on them and their family… They can’t spoil d name I built with sweat n blood. Yeh Yeh .”
