Kwara State Government commences Training for 1,056 Community Police constables

The Kwara State police command has commenced training of 1,056 police constables, gazette.ng reports.

The State , AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq while commencing the training course commended for playing an active role in the concept which he said would strengthen internal security architecture.

“I commend President Muhammadu for approving a noble project like this as presented by the Inspector General of . This programme is not new all over the world but its implementation at this time is very significant,” he said at the flag-off in Ilorin, the state capital.

The police commissioner disclosed that the newly admitted constables will, undergo a one month training on security tasks, and get deployed to their various communities in the state.
