Jos Students Protest Over Stoppage Of New Vice Chancellor

The students of University of Jos, Plateau State on Monday went on the street of the institution to protest what they call illegal STOPPAGE of the process of Appointing a new Vice Chancellor.

Gazette correspondence gathered from the angry protesting students that a communique stopping the process was pasted on the university notice board.

They said it is an act to manipulate fairness in the selection process hence they are calling on the NUC to allow the process go smoothly.

The students whom are on Exams said, if for any reason the action is not reverse they will continue the protest and exams will have to be postponed.
