Ekweremadu’s brother dies after collapsing in Enugu State House of Assembly

Chef Mathais Ekweremadu, brother of the former Senate Vice and transportation commissioner in Enugu state, has died.
Ekveremadou collapsed on Thursday during a household defense at the State House of Commons and was rushed to the Niger Foundation hospital in Enugu, where doctors reportedly declared him dead.
The state government has not announced his death, as in the media, but close family sources confirmed to Vanguard that he died on Thursday afternoon.
Prior to his appointment as Commissioner in 2019, Ekveremadou represented the Aninri State constituency at the State House of Assembly, where he served as a cleaner for the General Assembly between 2015 and 2019.
He is also chairman of the Aninri parish council.
